Intro
Hello! Welcome, and Thank You for visiting my website. Of course, By now you know my name is Emmeline. However, a lot of people know me as Mimi.
Originally, I am originally from Bournemouth, South England. I moved to Australia as a backpacker with my partner in 2019 and travelled/worked in agriculture until March 2022.
In 2023, It was finally time to launch my Freelance Business here in Australia. It’s been a great first year with 17 Weddings completed and over 50+ occasion makeups serviced.
My Experience
I am a self taught makeup artist and my passion for makeup started at age 13. I have suffered from acne since 13 and sought out ways to cover it up. I have always been a creative and also have a deep love for photography, videography, floristry, content creation, marketing and design. In 2016 I was introduced to Instagram and I found joy in photographing makeup looks I created on myself and found some of my work being reposted on large brand accounts at the time such as Illamasqua, Crown Brush U.K and Anastasia Beverly Hills.
Being self taught paved the way for my upcoming career and was hired by Benefit Cosmetics at 18. This retail and sales experience then became a stepping stone to being employed by Chanel Beauty some years later.
My experience at Chanel was incredible and I feel very lucky to have worked alongside some industry professionals which assisted in excelling my application skills, communication and overall makeup style. The experience I took away from Chanel was priceless, and I often apply the skills I learnt there, to my freelance work now.
Where am I based?
I am currently working out of Hollie Castledine Beauty Studio on selected Fridays & Saturday in the heart of Timboon.
However, Locations I can travel to are as follows: The Great Ocean Road, Lorne & Apollo Bay, Warrnambool, Koroit and Port Fairy. Cobden, Camperdown and Allansford. Port Campbell, Peterborough and Princetown.
I don’t travel for single appointment Trials, however I am happy to combine them with group bookings. Travel Fees Apply for Freelance Jobs.
